Begum Iqbal Bano Foundation introduces a yearly
scholarship in Hindi Literature at Punjab University, Chandigarh
2019

scholarship at Punjabi University, Patiala.
2023
Begum Iqbal Bano Foundation launches its first monthly
ground event: “Likhat Poetica” in Chandigarh. This aims at
providing a platform to young poets in the early stages of
perfecting their craft.

Begum Iqbal Bano Foundation launches another ground
event “Baat Jaisi Baat”, wherein esteemed poets of Hindi and
Punjabi are invited to talk all things poetry.
2024
Begum Iqbal Bano Foundation launches “Seekham
Seekh”, an on-ground poetry workshop for teenagers.
2025
The foundation’s first book “Likhat Poetica-K” comes in
publication by Paakhi Re.

In addition to Asal Bol, Khadee Boli is soon to be launched. A website which archives the ancient gems of Hindi literature whilst introducing the world to the modern greats.
Literature for Children
Works are on to introduce young minds to the joys of Punjabi and Urdu literature whilst creating an environment that facilitates their appreciation as well.
